We are a volunteer organization dedicated to training dogs to be better pets and to provide ad-vanced training necessary to earn the Obedience titles awarded by the American Kennel Club

We believe that responsible dog obedience training is the key to a healthy relationship with your dog.

RDOC is pleased to announce an online classroom relationship with Pup N Iron Canine Fitness & Learning Center LLC during the current COVID-19 crisis which has currently postponed our classes. We understand the need to continue training and socialization for puppies and dogs during this time and realize the challenges faced when under guidelines to stay home.

Pup N Iron offers Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Manners & Obedience classes which we feel will benefit many of you during this time. Located in Stafford County, Pup N Iron is owned and operated by Laurie Williams BA, CPDT-KA, CPT CDTI. Laurie has been a professional dog trainer and canine behavior counselor for over 30 years and is recognized by a multitude of organizations including AKC, UKC, WCRL and C-WAGS.

As always, RDOC is here it help inthis current climate and we are available through email and phone should a need arise. We look forward to having you return to our classes as soon as restrictions are lifted, and it is safe for all. Until this time, we hope you will enroll in a virtual class with Pup N Iron.

RDOC Dog Obedience Club is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the relationship between pets and people by teaching responsible dog ownership and obedience classes. We are the only dog obedience organization in Richmond area granted a license by the American Kennel Club to hold obedience trials. Founded in 1959, the club has an excellent national reputation for outstanding training. Our program offers positive, humane techniques and discourages harsh methods. Many of our club members have won awards in local, national, and international competitions. We welcome our trainees to join our club. Besides offering classes, we perform obedience demonstrations for community groups, nursing homes, and schools.  Other club activities include: tattoo clinics, agility trials, obedience trials, rally trials, seminars and Canine Good Citizenship Tests. Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, and we welcome visitors.
